As an Evening Porter, you will be an essential part of the guest journey — providing a warm welcome, assisting with guest needs, ensuring the property is secure, clean, and supporting operational teams across the resort. This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors independently while being part of a close-knit hospitality team.
Key Responsibilities Guest Experience Welcome late-arriving guests with warmth and professionalism Assist with luggage and escort guests to their accommodation Respond promptly to guest requests and queries Support with special guest set-ups or evening arrangements
Security & Safety Conduct regular evening property checks Ensure buildings and facilities are secured appropriately Act as a point of contact for any overnight issues or emergencies Follow health & safety procedures at all times
Operational Support Assist with evening set-down and preparation for the following day Support housekeeping and maintenance with light duties if required Maintain cleanliness and presentation of public areas Help with fire lighting, outdoor preparations, and guest amenities
About You We’re looking for someone dependable, proactive, personable, and practical — someone who takes pride in delivering thoughtful service. Essential: Friendly and professional manner both in person and over the phone Native or fluent English speaker Ability to work independently and use initiative Evening and weekend availability Physically capable of manual handling tasks Valid Driver’s license Strong sense of responsibility and awareness of guest safety Willingness to take the extra mile Excellent communication skills Basic IT trouble-shooting skills Based in the area or willing to relocate
