About the Role

The Operations Lead acts as the operational heartbeat of the resort.

Working across all departments, you will hold the bigger picture, ensuring information flows effectively, plans are aligned, teams are connected and guest experiences are delivered seamlessly from beginning to end.

You will play a key role in coordinating day-to-day operations while also leading the operational planning and delivery of weddings, corporate retreats, exclusive hire events and premium guest experiences.

This role is ideal for someone who remains calm under pressure, enjoys solving problems before they arise and naturally builds trust with people at every level of an organisation.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Operational Coordination

• Maintaining a clear view across all operational departments
• Supporting communication and collaboration between teams
• Identifying challenges early and coordinating practical solutions
• Helping create consistency, structure and operational rhythm across the resort
• Supporting department leaders to deliver exceptional results

Events & Exclusive Hire Experiences

• Coordinating weddings, retreats, corporate events and exclusive hire programmes
• Leading pre-event planning and operational briefings
• Managing event timelines and operational readiness
• Coordinating external suppliers and partners
• Supporting smooth delivery during live events
• Conducting post-event reviews and continuous improvement planning

Planning & Organisation

• Developing operational briefing packs and preparation plans
• Maintaining event and operational calendars
• Building practical systems and processes that improve consistency
• Supporting site readiness and operational excellence

Leadership & Collaboration

• Working closely with department heads across the resort
• Building strong cross-functional relationships
• Creating alignment between teams and operational priorities
• Contributing as a valued member of the Senior Leadership Team

The role entails meeting and greeting guests, providing detailed information on menus, and multi-tasking various restaurant and bar duties. Responsibilities

• Meet and greet guests and escort them to their tables
• Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
• Prepare tables by setting up silverware and glasses
• Offer menu recommendations upon request
• Assessing customer preferences and making drinks recommendations
• Up-sell additional products when appropriate
• Take accurate food and drinks orders
• Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff
• Serve food and drink orders
• Mixing drinks using an extensive range of ingredients
• Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation
• Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area
• Deliver and collect bill payments
• Attend start of shift team meeting to review daily changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties)
• Follow all relevant health department regulations
• Provide excellent customer service to guests

Requirements

• Attentiveness and patience for customers

• Excellent presentation skills
• At least 1 year of experience in the food and beverage department, preferably in a hotel/resort environment
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment

• Beneficial: barista or sommelier skills
• Must be available to work weekends

We are looking for Housekeeping Attendants who take pride in creating beautiful environments, have an eye for detail and understand that exceptional guest experiences begin long before a guest arrives.

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness, presentation and comfort that our guests expect.

Working as part of a supportive and experienced housekeeping team, you will help prepare guest accommodation, maintain public areas and contribute to creating memorable stays for every guest who visits Finn Lough.

What You'll Be Doing

• Preparing and servicing guest accommodation, including Bubble Domes, Suites, Villas and Cabins
• Cleaning and maintaining public areas across the resort
• Assisting with laundry operations and linen management
• Ensuring accommodation and guest spaces are presented to the highest standards
• Reporting maintenance concerns and guest-related issues promptly
• Supporting colleagues across the housekeeping operation
• Contributing to a positive guest experience through attention to detail and pride in your work

A Unique Working Environment

Finn Lough is not a traditional hotel environment. This role involves working across multiple accommodation areas and guest spaces throughout the resort. Housekeeping team members use resort vehicles and golf buggies as part of their daily operation.

Candidates should be comfortable working in an outdoor hospitality environment and in varying weather conditions throughout the year.

Event Crew (Casual)

We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable individuals to join our Casual Event Crew. This is a flexible, as-needed role supporting weddings, corporate events, retreats and special occasions throughout the year.

If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, take pride in delivering excellent customer service, and like being part of a team that creates memorable experiences, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll do

As part of our Event Crew, you'll help ensure every event runs smoothly by supporting our Operations team with duties such as:

• Setting up event spaces before guests arrive
• Serving food and beverages professionally and efficiently
• Clearing tables and maintaining high presentation standards
• Assisting with bar service where required
• Supporting room resets and event breakdown after functions
• Working closely with colleagues to deliver exceptional guest experiences
• Following food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times
• Assisting with luggage and escorting guests to venues/accommodation

What we're looking for

We're looking for people who are:

• Passionate about hospitality with a friendly, approachable and professional demeanour, engaging with guests at every opportunity
